Christmas is not over yet but many are already listing out the things to buy after Christmas, for the New Year.

The holidays usually see a surge in the number of people shopping for goodies but for those looking for huge discounts, the day after Christmas - that is the December 26 - is the best time to get the best deals.

The 2013 holidays sale have already been heavily discounted. And things are only going to get better for the before-New Year sales. Those looking for huge discounts in apparels need not go very far, as Amazon is listing massive deals offering even 70 percent off options on clothing. While in the electronics section, it is offering up to 60 percent discounts.

Even Walmart stores are not far behind in offering great deals in its after-Christmas sales. The real treat by Walmart is for the gamers - as the world's largest retailer plans on giving huge post-holiday discounts on PS3, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The shoppers, especially the ladies, will be delighted to know that Walmart will also make huge discounts on designer perfume gift sets, diamond and gemstone jewellery deals.

Mega Sale by Old Navy is offering 75 per cent off in stores and 60 per cent online till 31 January. Best Buy has price reductions on computers (PCs and laptops), Apple products (MacBook Pro, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPhone 5S, iPod Mini, iPhone 5C), Android tablets, video games and consoles - including Nintendo Wii U bundle sets, Xbox One and Xbox 360 deals. There are also special discounts on GPS devices, HDTVs (including 3D), LED HDTVs, kitchen appliances, Samsung devices and more.

The shoppers can also look at Target for special deals on stockings, toys, video games (old and new), clothing, perfume gift sets and even furniture. The retail chain is also offering free shipping on all $50 and above orders.
