Samsung Galaxy Note 3 offers blazing-fast hardware performance and several exclusive apps for gesture and S Pen for everyday use but issues and glitches have been found as well that can affect daily functions. Here are ten among many reports of Galaxy Note 3 problems that you should check once you purchase the device.

1.      Adding Contacts from Handwriting
You can add new contact details using the S Pen in handwriting mode via Air Command but the device doesn't automatically add the first name and surname including space on the contacts app.

2.      S Pen Button
Galaxy Note 3 S Pen accessory features a button but the design can be awkward to access as it has been placed on unfavourable location.

3.      S Pen Keeper
The feature alarms user that S Pen is not attached on the Note 3 but the sensor detecting it may alert you too late. In some case, the alarm only activates when you turn off the screen.

4.      Magazine Mode
If you use the S Pen for the Magazine Mode via Flipboard app, a lag may occur unlike the lightning fast swiping on the home screen with S Pen. It may have been caused by the app rather than Galaxy Note 3.

5.      Multi-touch Issues
Using a MultiTouch Tester app via Play Store, Galaxy Note 3 may have some issues on detecting how many fingers are actually touching the device. It could have been caused by oversensitivity or the app itself interpreting the problem.

6.      Wi-Fi Drops
Like with other devices, Galaxy Note 3 has been reported as well to suffer Wi-Fi drops which can be caused by the Wi-Fi settings and the router supplying the wireless connection.

7.      Black Camera Glitch
Some users have experienced a weird Black Camera glitch which appears upon launching the app. The UI doesn't respond including the settings with "Camera isn't responding" text appearing on the screen.

8.      Home Button Stuck
Primarily as hardware issue that happens randomly among Galaxy Note 3 wherein the home key gets stuck on itself. Pressing the key once more releases it from 'stuck' mode. Go to your retailer to have it replaced immediately.

9.      Wi-Fi Pop-up Message
Another issue found on Galaxy Note 3 during Wi-Fi connection is a message popping up displaying "Prevention Information" on the notifications shade. It is informing the user that an application has been forced to stop for an unauthorised attempt to access system in your device.

10.  Phone App
Sprint variant of Galaxy Note 3 suffers a Phone app glitch which is not common among other U.S. models. When searching a contact via Phone app, the displayed number is the home number instead of mobile.

Some of these issues and glitches are fixable by updating your Galaxy Note 3 with the latest firmware from Samsung or via network carrier using Over-the-Air procedure or Samsung Kies PC suite. If you suffer hardware-related problems, return the device immediately to retailer or your carrier to get a replacement.
