Although 2014 is full of potentially great movies, fans are reportedly excited to see the seventh installment of the "Fast and the Furious" movie franchise, according to Forbes.
The "Fast and the Furious" movie producers do not to make any interesting press releases for the upcoming action flick to make people more animated and eager to watch it. The movie itself matters. The actors and attention-grabbing plots draw people to watch it. But the main reason the "Fast and the Furious" is the most talked about movie of 2014 is because of the untimely passing of Paul Walker, one of its main characters.
Walker died during a break from filming the "Fast and the Furious 7." After his death, people wonder how the producers are going to incorporate his death in the movie. Will they rewrite the script, which is surely going to be time-consuming and, not to mention, tedious? Will they ask Walker's nearly identical Cody to film the late handsome actor's final scenes? Unquestionably, Universal Pictures will be able to find a way to work around Walker's death.
According to Director James Wan, the film will definitely pay tribute to Walker's death. It is unclear how they would go about it, whether they will hire Cody to shoot the last scenes or Walker's character Brian O'Conner would be killed.
One thing is for sure, Universal Studios revealed that they will stick with the original release date of the "Fast and the Furious 7," which is set to hit the big screen July 11, 2014.
"Fast and the Furious" is one of the highest-grossing movie franchises. "Fast and the Furious 6" is the most successful of the franchise earning $786 million at the box office worldwide. Will the seventh installment surpass the record of its predecessor?
Aside from "Fast and the Furious," the upcoming 2014 movies creating a buzz include Robocop, Divergent, 300: Rise of the Empire, The Amazing Spiderman 2, Transformers 4: Age of Extinction, The Expendables 3, and so much more.
