South Korean consumer electronics giant, Samsung is reportedly prepping to release the second-generation Galaxy Grand series smartphone in India next week.
For the past couple of days, Samsung has been using official social websites - Twitter and Facebook - as a platform to hint Galaxy Grand 2's impending launch. One of the feed said, "Drop regular from your life, Turn Everyday Grand!"
Now, Indian arm of Samsung is said to host an event in Mumbai on 23 December (Monday) to launch the Galaxy Grand 2. It is expected to be priced around ₹19,000-₹21,000.

Galaxy Grand 2, a successor of company's bestselling mid-range phone, Galaxy Grand was officially unveiled last month. It sports a bigger 5.25-inch HD (1280x720p) TFT display and runs on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the box.
Under-the-hood, it packs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB in built storage (expandable up to 64GB), an 8.0-megapixel main camera (with LED flash support, auto-focus) and a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera.
The handset also boasts smart camera features - Best Face, Best Photo, Continuous Shot, Story Album, Sound & Shot, S Translator , S Travel and more. On connectivity front, it houses dual-SIM slots, 3G network support, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), GPS+GLONASS for navigation.
