NES Remix Brings Back the Classics on Wii U

Nintendo is putting a new spin to your favorite NES titles by tweaking it and bringing it to the Wii U. Also announced at the Nintendo Direct, The Verge reported that the changes to some of the titles that will be landing as an NES Remix will have new challenges and levels to give them a slightly rehauled feel.

One of these examples is the Super Mario Bros. played backwards. As you can see in the trailer below, other ways that the NES Remix will challenge you with the Super Mario Bros. game is to have you play it in the dark or even have the landings disappear as you're gathering coins and defeating enemies.

According to reports, some of the other games that will be getting remixed include The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Ice Climber.
