Bingo Players’ DJ Paul Baumer Dies of Cancer

On Dec. 17, 2013, the unfortunate and untimely demise of Paul Baumer of well-known DJ group, "Bingo Players" left his fans around the globe in profound grief. On July 18, 2013, Paul Baumer disclosed to his fans that he was suffering from cancer and after five months after his revelation, the great dancer passed away.

In a candid confession on their group's website, Baumer has announced early this year that he has been diagnosed with cancer. Despite that, he said that he would not give up and fight until his last breath. 

"As some of you may know, I have been in the hospital over the past few weeks and I have not been at some of the recent shows while seeking medical treatment. I now have the results back and I wanted to let you know that I have been diagnosed with cancer," stated Baumer.

The group member Maarten Hoogstraten announced the heart-rending news on their official Facebook and Twitter pages which reads:

Dear All,

I'm deeply saddened to tell you that Paul passed away last night after his battle with cancer. He fought strongly until the end. We want to thank you all for your support over the past few months. Needless to say, all upcoming shows for the rest of this year have been cancelled as we're going through this loss with family and friends. We'll post a longer update shortly with more information as well.

Paul, we will miss you.

The news of Baumer's death instantly went viral on the Internet and fans writing messages of condolence and concern. The Facebook post has received more than 70,000 likes and more than 20,000 comments. Indeed, it was an absolute loss to the global music industry. Bingo Players' group's popular tracks include:
