iPhone 6 release date may be in June/July or even later, according to Susquehanna Financial Group analyst.
Susquehanna Financial Group's Christopher Caso stated in his report for investors that iPhone 6 launched could be either in June or July or even at a later date. Mr Caso said that the announcement of the next iPhone next year is of vital importance for the company to further boost the sales and revenues of the company.
However, since iPhone 5S is doing well in terms of sales and is doing better than expected, it releases the pressure of releasing the device early. Mr Caso thinks that iPhone 6 will arrive either in June or July. He said that it is important that Apple will launch a new iPhone earlier than usual as it needs a device to reignite the sales.
Jefferies analyst Peter Misek also predicted that iPhone will arrive in July. He also said that three to five million units of the device will be supplied to China Mobile, which is the world's largest carrier. June is the original release date of iPhone and the smartphone was made available in July and it is not impossible that Apple will go back to its original launch calendar.
Previous rumours pointed to an earlier release date in the first quarter of 2014, probably around March. However, other speculations started to emerge saying that the next iPhone will be released later next year. Apple may wait for a full year to maximize the profits of the current iPhones.
iPhone 6 is rumoured to pack a larger screen display with a size between 4.8 to 6 inches. The next iPhone may retain some of iPhone 5S' features such as the 64-bit A7 processor, M7 graphics chip and the fingerprint sensor. However, new patents showed that iPhone 6 may include curved screen display and a refocusable light camera.
