Google Nexus 10 2 release date may be sooner as Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 prices drop for the holiday season.

Google Nexus 5 was just released last month. Thus, it is very unlikely to see the price coming down so early. Moreover, the price of the Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 are already below other smartphones in the market.

However, in Amazon, 32 GB Google Nexus 5 costs $485, which is $15 less than its original price. While the LG Nexus 4's price is reduced to $345.

There is no doubt that iPhones have been dominating the smartphone market for a couple of years, but iPhone may be quite for some customers and buyers have to seek other cheaper smartphones. According to some analysts' estimation, there is a chance for 8 million units of second generation Google Nexus to be sold in 2013 worldwide.

Google Nexus 5 is the first smartphone to run with the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. The Nexus 5 also packs a 4.96" Corning Gorilla Glass 3 IPS LCD touchscreen with 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution, 2.3 GHz Krait 400 quad-core processor on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 8 MP rear-facing camera, and 1.3 MP front-camera.

Another hint to an imminent release date of the Google Nexus 10 2 is the recent deals and discounts on the Nexus 7.

Google has not confirmed any detail of the device yet. There has been a few updates on the release date of Google Nexus 10 2 after the device skipped the Black Friday and Cyber Monday festivities leaving many consumers frustrated. Some reports said that the Google Nexus 10 2 launch is moved early next year.

Google Nexus 10 2 is rumoured pack the same 10-inch screen display but with pixel resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. The tablet may be equipped with Tegra 4 chip processor, which is different from initial speculations that the tablet will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset like its brother - Nexus 5. The tablet may also sport a separate Adreno 330 graphics chip and 2 GB of RAM for faster and better processing. Google Nexus 10 2 will also have an 8MP rear camera and will run with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. The Google Nexus 10 2 may be available in 16 GB and 32 GB variants.
