To kick off the finale week, "The Voice" coaches Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Ceelo Green and Blake Shelton performed Dep Leppard's classic "Pour Some Sugar on Me." The Top 3 contestants are up for one last night of elimination as the new winner of the show will be hailed on Tuesday live at NBC.
It's been a exciting season for "The Voice" and after all those elimination nights it all leads to one final cut that will determine the Season's 5 winner. Team Adam is leading the season with two contestants, Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin, all in the running for the top spot and Team Christina's Jaquie Lee as a lone survivor of the team.
For the first time in the history of "The Voice," Team Blake is not the running for the final spot after three straight seasons of being the winner. Blake Shelton's bet Cole Vosbury was eliminated in last week's semi-finals leaving coach Adam Levine to work doubly hard for his contestants.
For the last final night, the announcement of winner, the show has prepared some pretty high-profile performances that will make the Tuesday's finale a night to be remembered for the rest of the season. Aside from the season's Top 20 finalists and awesome "The Voice" coaches performance, Lady Gaga and One Direction is scheduled to rock stage.
The star-packed guest appearances are just one of the few things to watch out for Tuesday's finale. The two-hour finale features Lady Gaga as she takes the stage with R. Kelly singing their new single "Do What U Want" from Gaga's album ARTPOP.
Celine Dion and Neyo will serenade the audience as they wait for the final verdict with their duet, "Incredible," from her album, "Love Me Back." One Republic is back on "The Voice" stage as they perform the song "I Lived" from their "Native" album.
The final elimination night will air on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 9 p.m. on NBC. The show's in-house songwriter-producer has prepared an original single for this Season 5 winner, to be performed right after he/she will be proclaimed as the victor.
