After having an impressive first week, Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer "R... Rajkumar" is now leading the box offices in its second seek.

Despite being rivalled by two new releases, "R... Rajkumar" had started the second week on a good note. Prabhu Deva's masala entertainer has now managed to rake in ₹2 crore on its second Friday.

The film surprisingly raked in ₹47.05 crore in its first week theatrical run in India, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Adding the second Friday figure, the domestic total of the film stands at ₹49.05 crore.

The film will rule the box office market in its second week as new releases "Jackpot" and "What The Fish" have opened to poor response.

"R... Rajkumar" success at the box office has brought back the smiles on Sonakshi and Shahid's faces, who delivered had back-to-back flops before this.

The whole team of "R... Rajkumar" celebrated the box office success by organising a grand party in Mumbai. Bollywood celebrities, including Genelia D'souza, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sonakshi, Pritam, Vikramaditya Motwane, Ayan Mukherjee, Prabhu Deva, Sandhya Mridul, Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Kashyap, Parmeet and Archana Puran Singh among others attended the party.

Meanwhile, Sunny Leone's "Jackpot" and Dimple Kapadia's "What The Fish" have started their box office run on a poor note.

Both films received average to negative reviews from critics and audiences. Also, the occupancy at theaters was not more than 25 percent in the domestic markets.

"Jackpot" is a comedy thriller film that features Sunny Leone, Sachiin J Joshi, Makrand Deshpande and Naseeruddin Shah in lead roles. The film is directed by "Boom" director Kaizad Gustad. The film on the opening day raked in ₹1.25 crore.

Meanwhile "What The Fish", starring Dimple Kapadia, failed to earn even decent returns.
