"NCIS" Season 11, Episode 10, "Devils Triad" marks the return of the hit CBS crime drama after two weeks without a new episode. Scroll down to watch the NCIS 11x10 promo video (sneak peek), which shows a very shocked Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

Spoiler alert: This feature contains minor spoilers from NCIS Season 11, Episode 10, Devils Triad. This is the second episode starring new cast Emily Wickersham, who plays NSA analyst Ellie Bishop.

Familiar faces are joining NCIS 11x10. FBI Agent T.C. Fornell (Joe Spano) is back with his and Gibbs' ex-wife Diane Sterling (Melinda McGraw). Gibbs, who is rarely surprised, gets his first shock of the season in this episode.

Ellie Bishop Known as 'Ziva's Replacement'

Some fans want to watch NCIS 11x10 to see the characters move forward, away from the Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) phase. Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) has started talking about dating, but he's also shown signs of doing it half-heartedly. New probie Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) has yet to hear about Ziva, but it's hinted she's learned about Caitlin Todd (Sasha Alexander) from Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette).

A lot of Ziva fans are clamouring online to "bring back Cote de Pablo" on NCIS. It has been widely reported, however, that the network and production team have tried but failed to convince the actress to stay. The good news is Ziva David is alive, and could appear every now and then in special episodes (like Fornell and Sterling).

NCIS showrunner Gary Glasberg has earlier said Ellie Bishop is not Ziva David's replacement, but an addition to the NCIS family. Some fans couldn't help themselves, though. Ellie Bishop has taken over Ziva's desk, after all.

"Complications arise when the NCIS team discovers a link between a murder victim and the boyfriend of Gibbs' ex-wife (Diane)," says the TV.com synopsis of NCIS Season 11, Episode 10, Devils Triad. Someone's "clowning around" and "fooling around," says the promo video available on YouTube.

NCIS Season 11, Episode 10, Devils Triad is the first of two episodes remaining before the crime series takes its winter break. The mid-season finale is called, "Homesick," which airs Dec. 17. Fans are anticipating a special episode and/or a mind-boggling cliffhanger.
