On 4th Dec. 2013, Universal Pictures has released a statement to Us Weekly  about the "Fast & Furious 7" shooting plans:

"Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew, and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise," "We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they join us in mourning the passing of our dear friend Paul Walker."

But with director James Wan's latest disclosure has put a stop on all the preceding reports saying that filming for the "Fast & Furious 7" was brought to a standstill because of lead star Paul Walker's untimely and unfortunate demise.

Recently while departing the LAX airport James Wan the Malaysian-Australian director answered "Yes" when questioned by TMZ whether filming of "Fast & Furious 7" will carry on.

According to the Daily Mail "Fast & Furious 7" was initially planned for a July 11, 2014 release but due to tragic death of Paul Walker it could be deferred. So Keep the fingers crossed as the new release date yet has to be announced.

Paul walker was the spirit of the "Fast & Furious 7" film franchise as he had portrayed the character of Brian O'Conner with head heart and soul.

"I get that a lot. I'm Brian a lot more than I'm Paul Walker, which is awesome. When I hear, 'Hey Paul Walker!' my hair stands up on the back of my neck. It's uncomfortable. But when I hear 'It's Brian!' it's cool. I like Brian," said Walker in an interview with USA Today from the Atlanta set of "Fast & Furious 7."

He had also revealed that if an actor lives the experience of making a film it is analogous to real life

"What I've found recently is the heart, the soul, whatever you want to call it, it doesn't differentiate: If you really live the experience making a movie, it's the same as living it in real life, as crazy as it sounds," "My victory in that movie was my victory in real life." He continued.

"You walk away with that, walking a little taller and a pop in your collar," "You learn a lot about yourself. It's heroic in a different way. We're pretty awesome when we're tested. Call it the human spirit or whatever you want, I like celebrating our victories." Said Walker.

Rest in peace Paul Walker the real and reel-life hero!
