There is only one man on planet Earth who can recite R. Kelly's seductive songs like a sexy magician. He is - power chords, please - "Sherlock's" Benedict Cumberbatch. Boys and girls drool over his baritone voice and to top it all, he mixes it with his English accent.

Benedict was the guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Wednesday along with R. Kelly. Jimmy Kimmel being Jimmy Kimmel decided to have some fun with guests. He asked Benedict to recite Kelly's "Genius" on the show. Benedict reading an R. Kelly number in his baritone voice is a viral video for netizens.

R. Kelly is a songwriter and producer who not so famous for his lyrical abilities but manages to get attention for being absolutely honest. When he decided to release his new album titled "Black Panties," Jimmy decided to invite Benedict for a live rendition of the song, "Genius."

The "Sherlock" star seated on a high stool under low light read the lyrics from a tiny booklet. He unleashed his Britishness and poured it all over the lyrics and it turned out to be pure genius.

Benedict read out the lyrics of the song in his own dramatic style. He read out the words as if he would recite a poem for his beloved. The song is about a man who thinks he is some kind of a sex maven.

"You got me like la la la la la baby," reads Benedict. Nobody can do "la la la la" Benedict does. He does with panache and adds a dash of humour. The resulting cocktail is nothing but a treat to the ears.

If you thought that the original version of "Genius" is sexy, wait until you hear Benedict's version. It is hilarious and sensual at the same time.

The "Sherlock" star concludes the reading with this line: "Go to sleep and when we wake up, I'm going to hit that thing again, I promise."
