Barron Hilton claims Lindsay Lohan was behind the assault at a Miami party.

Paris Hilton's younger brother Barron has reportedly been assaulted, and has alleged that actress Lindsay Lohan was implicated in the incident.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred at a party at a Miami mansion, where Lohan was also staying.

24-year-old Barron spoke with police who arrived at the scene following the brawl and is said to have claimed that Lohan orchestrated the assault.

The Mean Girls star reportedly overheard Barron bad-mouthing her, after which he alleges she approached him with a male friend screaming: "'You talk sh*t about me to my boyfriend, this is what you get."

Barron claims her male companion proceeded to attack him, with Lohan "laughing and egging him on".

Lindsay's father Michael Lohan has claimed that the accusations are false, stating that his daughter had left the mansion before the fight occurred and had nothing to do with the incident. He confirmed that they were several witnesses who could verify his claims.

Michael added that the troubled 27-year-old, who has been in and out of rehab for drug and alcohol abuse, has vowed to mend her ways, saying she "did not want to be around any trouble."

There is a history of bad blood between Lindsay and the Hilton family ever since Paris Hilton's friend Brandon Davis, publicly scorned the actress with his infamous "firecrotch rant" video in 2006.

The night before the alleged altercation with Barron, Lohan had been happily seen posing for photos with reality TV star Kim KardashianThe two friends were kicking off their trip to Miami to attend the Art Basel art festival, with an evening of partying at LIV night club in The Fontainebleau.

The actress has also been posting photos of herself on Instagram, looking relaxed in her swimwear while soaking up the Miaimi sun.

Lindsay Lohan is due to appear in her own reality show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable network in 2014.
