Bengaluru based Karbonn Mobiles on Thursday launched the much anticipated full HD smartphone Titanium X in India.

By launching the feature-rich Titanium X, Karbonn has come up with a worthy adversary to its local rival Micromax, which recently launched Canvas Turbo A250 in India.

Both the devices have similar specifications with subtle differences in the features, both in terms of physical appearance as well as internal hardware. The devices might catch the eye of prospective buyers looking for affordable full HD smartphone with high-end specifications,.

Here is brief description of the Micromax Turbo A250 and Karbonn Titanium X:

Display:

Micromax's Canvas Turbo A250 sports a full HD display with 441 ppi pixel density and boasts of CGS (Continuous Grain Solution) technology.

Whereas, Karbonn smartphone too flaunts a similar full HD display with One Glass Screen technology to withstand daily wear and tear.

Processor, RAM & Storage:

In terms of power, both the devices stand out even as they pack similar quad-core chipset with 1.5GHz speed.

However, they differ with RAM and storage capacity. On one hand, Micromax Canvas Turbo boasts of a sumptuous 2GB and 16GB inbuilt memory, but lacks microSD card slot, a minor disadvantage for those people who like to store movies in their smartphone.

On the other hand, Titanium X loses a point for featuring low physical memory compared to its rival, but 1GB RAM is good enough to multi-task and run power-guzzling games with ease. It features 16GB storage memory and houses a microSD card (up to 32GB).

Operating System:

In this department, both the phones score even points as they run on the same platform Android v4.2 Jelly Bean.

Camera:

Canvas Turbo A250 and Titanium X house same camera specification, but despite that, Micromax phone triumphs over the Karbonn device as the former boasts of smartcamera based gesture control features as well as a rich photography editing tool - Camerazzi featuring object eraser, 360-degree Panorama capture and Cinemagraph.

Both smartphones flaunt a 13.0-megapixel main camera and a 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera; only physical difference between the two is that Karbonn Titanium X boasts a dual-LED flash on the rear side and a single LED-flash on the front, a feature which is very rare in any conventional smartphone in the market.
