Google fans waiting for the Nexus 10 2 expressed that they decided to buy Apple's iPad line via social media.
Google Nexus 10 2 release date is way overdue based on the usual one-year cycle in rolling out new devices. However, there is no word yet whether Google will release its 10-inch tablet for the holidays. Initial speculations claimed that Google's tablet will be released either on Black Friday or on Cyber Monday and will join the biggest sales this year. However, both festivities came and went and there was no sign of Google Nexus 10 2.
Until now, no official word is heard from Google on which company is making the new version of the 10-inch Nexus branded tablet. Impatient tablet buyers are now turning their heads to other alternatives like the iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display.
iPad Air retained its 9.7 inches retina screen display. It also packed the same processor of iPhone 5S - 64-bit A7 processor. Meanwhile, the new iPad Mini, on the other hand, will include a retina display with a screen resolution of 2048x1536 with 326 ppi. The miniature iPad is also powered by the 64-bit A7 processor. The new iPad Mini also offers more storage options and consumers can choose among 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage variants. These are the top choice of most tablet users who decided that they will no longer wait for Google Nexus 10 2.
There is a high demand for Google Nexus 10 2 and may win the intense competition in the tablet market. Many people are still hoping that Google may just slip the second generation of Nexus 10 in the Play Store like what it did to the Nexus 5 smartphone.
Rumours claimed that Nexus 10 2 may pack Tegra 4 chip processor which is different from initial speculations that the tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset just like the Nexus 5. Google Nexus 10 2 is also rumoured to pack a 10-inch screen display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution; Adreno 330 GPU; 2 GB of RAM; 8MP rear camera and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. Nexus 10 2 will most likely be available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants.
