Justin Bieber could not keep things positive even for a day. Less than 24 hours after making headlines for making a Melbourne "Belieber's" dream come true, Justin was caught in the spotlight once again. Only this time, for the wrong reasons - being detained at Australia’s Brisbane Airport.

There are two top reasons why Justin Bieber was detained at the Brisbane Airport, Australia. One: marijuana was allegedly found in one of the members of his entourage. Two: Justin's potty mouth.
While the “One Time,” singer was going through the standard procedures of security check at the airport’s customs, Justin apparently made a scene. Marijuana was allegedly found from a young man in his group.
The incident, earlier reported by TMZ, involved Selena Gomez’s ex reportedly “using inappropriate language.” The tension increased when Bieber had resorted to swearing at airport officials.
Citing a report by the AFP, TMZ said that the customs officials did not like it one bit, thereby resulting in Justin and his entourage getting detained at the Brisbane Airport.
Airport authorities found an undisclosed amount of pot in a 23-year old member of Justin’s crew. Mail Online noted that a “disposable vaporizer with residue in it” was found in the unnamed “Believe” crew.
Not long after the investigation was conducted, the unnamed young man was apparently released. He was however, issued a ticket for importing drugs, added TMZ. The gossip Web site also said that a legal counsel for the pop singer assisted them to sort things out with the airport authorities. The unnamed lawyer reportedly paid a fine which paved way for the young man’s release.
Meanwhile, Justin is still in hot water after the Gold Coast mayor called on him to “clean up the mess he and his crew has made.” Justin and his crew were involved in a "graffiti scandal" when they spray painted the wall of one of the top hotels in the city.
Mayor Tom Tate said that if an ordinary individual would be caught painting graffiti, he or she would be forced to undergo community service as part of the city’s policy. The top officials however, gave Justin an option, and invited him to sing for the Mayor’s Christmas Carols on December 7.
It is still uncertain if Justin is coming as “invited.”
