After the recent rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S4, hype is expected to clear out already and in a matter of time, anticipation for another Android candy bar-- Android 4.4 KitKat. Although there are no official announcements about the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 just yet, Samsung fans are already looking forward to having that update on their devices.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Problems

Numerous complaints about the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update have been made. Samsung Galaxy S4 holders using Verizon are experiencing charging issues, random crashes and UI problems. Also, problems have been encountered with other carriers. These problems are expected and bug fixes will be done in time; however, these bug fixes don't usually come fast especially on U.S. carriers.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.4 KitKat Update

It is rumoured that the Galaxy S4 will get the Android 4.4 KitKat update soon. Although it is just a rumour as of the moment, the only update the Samsung Galaxy S4 has received is the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and it is unlikely that it'll be the last. As a matter of fact, the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 is almost a given, especially that Samsung gives two years of support to its devices.

Update Process: What to expect

Samsung Galaxy S4 owners should expect a similar release process to emerge in the near future which starts with early rumours talking about the release window. Afterwards, a substantial release date leak will be made available that will confirm Samsung's plan and will narrow down the window period previously announced.

Android 4.4 KitKat update is expected to bring its users a fresher experience with their device, which is undoubtedly better than what it is right now. The device is likely to hold up until 2015 and even beyond with improved features.

Samsung definitely needs to emulate the excellent software support the Apple iPhone has if they want to remain competitive in the smartphone market. As of the moment, with the promise of providing solid OS support, the future looks bright for Samsung Galaxy S4 users.
