Aussie lovers, both paedophiles, Peter Truong and Mark Newton from Queensland, were charged a maximum 40-year sentence for buying a baby boy for $US8000. In the most horrific act of all, they shared this baby to other peadophiles. Mr Newton had been serving a 40-year jail term since June of 2013, while, Mr Truong will start his time by next week.
''Essentially, Newton and Truong bought a child, falsified the circumstances of his birth and citizenship, sexually abused him to such a degree and so early in his life that by 22 months old, the child's sexual awareness as depicted on video rivals that of an adult,'' according to court documents written by U.S.
The lovers adopted the baby boy in 2005 as advertised by a then pregnant woman who was willing to sell her baby for $US8000.
According to local reports from Fort Myers, Mr Truong and Mr Newton conspired with a former Fort Myers attorney, John Rex Powell, to share out pornographic videos and pictures of children they exploit, particularly the baby boy that partners Mr Truong and Mr Newton bought.
"This conspiracy allegedly stretched across the country and around the world, using sophisticated techniques to hide the orchestrated abuse of dozens of child victims. As these men have learned, though, you aren't anonymous online," U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett said through an official statement.
The whole conspiracy was orchestrated by Mr Newton and Mr Truong as they were the legal adoptive parents of the baby boy. The "family" traveled around the U.S. to meet with other men who shared such horrific sexual fantasies with them. They all recorded the devilish acts they subjected the baby with.
After recordings, Mr Truong and Mr Newton reproduced the videos and pictures and sent them to other peadophiles in different countries around the world.
U.S. police officials were made aware of the crime and alerted the United States Postal Service to coordinate a two-year investigation on Mr Powell, Mr Truong and Mr Newton.
The adopted boy, now eight years old, is now under the custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Child Services after Mr Truong and Mr Newton were arrested in Los Angeles back in 2011.
