With Christmas just a few weeks away, Pentatonix has released its version of "Little Drummer Boy" on YouTube and the video has gone viral, getting over 8.2 million hits in less than 10 days.

Pentatonix is a five-member cappella group, consisting of Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola from Arlington.

The winner of 'The Sing-Off' season 3 had released "Carol of the Bells" in November last year, getting over 9 million hits. It went on to a medley of Beyonce songs and Daft Punk tribute before releasing "Little Drummer Boy."

Viewers on YouTube seem to love their version of the song, as many heaped praises on their rendition.

"Surely this was performed in HEAVEN by ANGELS...I am STUNNED. Best thing I've heard on the Internet in all 25 years I've been on it! I just don't have words..." wrote John Lester.

"It's begining to feel alot like Christmas," wrote Tiffany Ridler.

"This is Awesome it gave me goosebumps," wrote Kimberly Kingsbury

"Come. they told me Pa ra pa pum pum. I absolutely love this... the true meaning of this song speaks to me. Bring your gifts to the King, great or small... bring what you have and He will Smile at you. Thank you Lord for blessing us with such talent!!! Happy Holidays!" wrote Anne.
