Two days after the tragic death of "Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker, his closest associate Vin Diesel has finally spoken about the irreparable loss he now faces.

Walker's close friend and colleague posted a short message and an on-set photograph of Paul Walker and himself on Facebook.

The actor has also quoted a line from Scottish poet Thomas Campbell's 1825 work "Hallowed Ground" followed by a message. He refers to Walker as 'Pablo', a nickname given to him.

"Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now...and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us.. on me..."

"I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were.on and off screen."

All the 'Fast' stars have used familial terminology while eulogizing Walker on their social network posts. The reference to him as 'brother' seems fit as family is a string theme in the series.

Diesel and Walker shared a strong bond, despite different backgrounds and conflicting outlooks to life.  While shooting for the fourth installment of the series, Walker was quoted saying "Our chemistry is that we don't have any chemistry... He's East Coast and I'm West Coast. We respect each other as human beings and that's about all it takes... We have two totally different approaches to this whole game."

Walker's untimely death in a car crash on Saturday has delayed the release of "Fast7". There have been no official announcements on the continuation of the film.

Walker's family has requested those who wish to honour the late actor's memory to make a donation to his charity, Reach Out Worldwide. The message was posted on Walker's official Twitter account.
