Many international celebrities have watched the bout between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios on Saturday in Macau, China. Some of the most notable faces seen during the boxing event include socialite Paris Hilton, retired soccer superstar David Beckham, boxer Miguel Cotto, and singer Jessica Sanchez.
Paris Hilton has spoken about how she is a huge fan of Manny Pacquiao. During Manny's fight against Shane Mosley, Hilton was even photographed with Jinkee, Manny's wife. The two ladies formed an unlikely friendship and are now regarded as best friends forever. When the blonde socialite and hotel heiress visited the Philippines in 2011, she attended a dinner party hosted by the Pacquiaos.
David Beckham, on the other hand, has flown from London all the way to Macau, just to give his support to the Filipino boxer. Beckham has admitted that he is a huge fan of Manny. After the devastating calamity that the Philippines nation has suffered, Beckham thought it would be nice to support Manny.
Jessica Sanchez, a Filipino-American who won first runner-up in reality talent competition American idom, came to sing both the American and Philippines' anthems. Manny invited Sanchez to sing for the bout over on Twitter, and she immediately considered the request.
Miguel Cotto was also in attendance to watch the fight live. Cotto lost to Pacquiao in their bout on Nov 14, 2009.
Manny's victory against Rios has surely brought the faith of his followers in him. Following his defeat against Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny had certainly made his comeback even though he was not able to knock Rios down.
