It seems like it will be a child to beat everyone else at Australia's Got Talent 2013 grand finale. There are no fewer than four children in contention for winning the title of arguably the most popular talent hunt show in the country.
Finalists Dean Brady and Angel Taurai, aged 9 and 13, respectively, may end up being the winner in terms of popular opinion among the mass. While Angel captivated the esteemed judges earlier with her intense version of Rihanna's Diamonds, Dean impressed with his rendition of My Girl. On the one hand, the Han brothers, Joshua (12) and Oscar (10), have been quite extraordinary with the uniqueness of classical music as well as comedy.
On the other hand, Uncle Jed impressed the judges tonight in the final live performance after weeks of semis. The show opened with the performers from Sunday, The Sam Powers, The Chase and Greg Gould who made it through the finals as they turned out to be at the top by popular votes. Angel was the first to perform. She showed immense maturity in performing Beyonce's Halo.
Dawn showed her confidence in saying that she thought herself to be a "fully cooked pop star." She also called herself a "heart sweller." Kyle, on the other hand, impressed everyone when she said that she was on her way to be as big a star as Beyoncé. The Academy of Brothers then arrived on stage in their Gridiron costumes as they danced to Jump Around by House of Pain.
Timomatic exclaimed in joy that the testosterone-filled presentation raised the roof off the place, take40 reports. Geri could not stop gushing while commending the dance group for being creative as they had ripped their shirts in the middle of their performance. Raymond Crowe's performance was "clever, funny and original," according to Geri. Kyle said that Raymond was a "little genius" as he said that he had seen nothing similar before.
Next week when Australia's Got Talent is broadcast on NINE at 6:30 pm on Sunday, some of the finest performer from the show will perform, such as Chloe Marlow (10) from Perth, Julius Firdaus from Sydney and Joanna, the pole dancer from Perth.
