Arsenal host Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates Stadium on matchday three in the Champions' League group phase
Where to Watch Live
Kick-off is at 7:45pm BST. Live coverage will be available on ITV1.
Following wins over Marseille and Napoli, Arsenal face a true acid test of their recent improvement upon the visit of Dortmund. Arsene Wenger's side have won 10 of their last 11 games in all competitions and produce a stylish performance to defeat Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday. New signing Mesut Ozil has settled well while Aaron Ramsey has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season. If Arsenal are to be considered genuine contenders for silverware this season, they must overcome their most difficult test of the season.
And that test comes in the form of Jurgen Klopp's Borussia Dortmund, who have picked up from where they left off last season and are unbeaten in eight of their first nine league games, trailing leaders Bayern Munich by just a point in the early phase of the season. Following an opening defeat to Marseille, Dortmund bounced back in some style to dismantle group whipping boys Marseille and will fancy turning the group around in back-to-back matches against their Premier League opponents.
What the managers said:
Arsene Wenger: "The feelgood factor is down to the quality, the solidarity of the players and their desire to do well. We want to be successful and for that you need a special hunger. These players have a special hunger. If we do well we will be difficult to handle."
Jurgen Klopp: "They have more points [than us], are in first place in one of the strongest leagues in the world and are at home, so they will be the favourites. But I think these will be two close games and some of the small things will decide what will happen.
"If I had to pay for a ticket, then I think I would pick this one. As a supporter this is one of the most beautiful types of football to watch."
