LinkedIn, the social networking Web site for professional purposes has recently unveiled their list of "Most in Demand Employers, 2013." The valuable listing of the top employers can help you identify the path to follow to fulfill your ambitions.
The list has been compiled after analyzing over 25 billion interactions between the employers and the professionals from some 238 million members of the Web site.
Topping the list are the technology giants Google and Apple standing at first and second position, respectively. It is no surprise that Google reserves a top spot in the list. The employees of the company are provided with great privileges and suitable working environment. Free yoga sessions, free meals and other valuable benefits are quite common.
Apple takes the second spot. Being a favorite amongst the tech buffs it is also amongst the top favorites of professionals. Microsoft and Facebook have been pushed to fifth and sixth spot by FMCG companies like Unilever and Procter & Gamble as they acquire third and fourth place, respectively.
Here is the list of top 25 "Most in Demand Employers" of 2013.

A small company with only 2,066 employees has also figured in the list ranking 99. Some of the companies from the Oil & Energy sector have also made it to the list. This change in the trend is quite surprising as noted by analysts. About 16 spots in the top 100's list have been reserved by Oil & Energy companies. Some of them are Shell, BP and Exxon Mobil ranking 9, 13 and 33, respectively. Also, some FMCG companies have ranked high in the list.
It has also been reported that about 42 percent of LinkedIn's List of 'Most in Demand Employers' of 2013 are based outside the US.
