Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal believes the Gunners' squad is strong enough to win the Premier League and Champions League this season.
The north London club have gone without winning silverware for eight seasons. However, the Spanish international remains confident that Arsene Wenger's side can finally break the trophy drought this term.
The Gunners are enjoying a great run in the Premier League and are on top of the table with 16 points from seven games. At the European stage, Arsenal have fared well as they lead Group F with six points from two games, with Napoli and Borussia Dortmund trailing them by three points.
"I would not say just one [trophy], I would say a few. Of course that is very tough to achieve. The Premier League is very difficult, the Champions League, these are major trophies but we are on a good run," Monreal told Arsenal's official website.
"We are top of the table, it is still early doors, but we will take every game as it comes and at the end hopefully we'll win a title."
Arsenal signed Mesut Ozil for a club record transfer fee of £42.5m as the German international was signed from Real Madrid on the deadline day. The midfielder has registered four assists and scored a goal in six appearances in all competitions.
In addition to this, Aaron Ramsey has been in brilliant run for the Gunners, who has bagged five goals and has three assists to his name from nine starts in all competitions. Monreal claims the confidence in Arsenal's camp is high, which has been the reason for their recent success.
"The players' confidence [is different this season]. You can tell that they are very enthusiastic, very happy, the results are going our way and logically that makes everything easier. We have a happy group and that is very important to playing football well," he added.
The left-back was signed by Wenger in January and Monreal claims that he timed his move perfectly, which helped him settle quickly at the Emirates.
"When I was offered the chance to come here, I was in the best moment of my career. I had a lot of confidence, I had [Manuel] Pellegrini's trust, I felt that I played a key role at Malaga and with the national side, and I think I came here at the right time," Monreal said.
