Wilfried Zaha's frustrations continued to grow last night after being caught in an on-field bust up with West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison as England#s Under 21 side beat Lithuania 5-0 at Portman Road. .
After both players demanded to take a free-kick they appeared to get into an argument and things started to get physical before Nathan Redmond seperated the pair. The pair had an earlier disagreement with Morrison wanting to take the penalty for England after having scored twice in the game but Zaha sided with Saido Berahino who duly converted.
The situation has shown both players to appear somewhat unhinged at present and while Morrison has always been prone to controversy for Zaha it would appear he is particularly frustrated with his situation as he made only his third appearance this season for either club and country.
After signing a deal with United in January and eventualy making the move to Old Trafford after securing promotion to the Premier League for his former side Crystal Palace, Zaha has been reportedly looking for a loan spell elsewhere as he continues to be left on the bench by David Moyes.
He is no doubt missed by Holloway and after being included in Moyes' squad just once this season it would appear he has a tough fight ahead to prove he is worthy of a regular starting spot with United.
But Holloway isn't going to try and pursue Zaha as Moyes deals with a particularly disappointing start to the season for the Red Devils, insisting he must concentrate only on the players available to him at this stage.
"Besides, we have options [on the wings] - Jason Puncheon can play either side and in the pocket as well as in central midfield. Yannick Bolasie is coming back and will do well. It is all about having a squad that is strong enough to make changes and sustain good performances."
England Under 21 manager Gareth Southgate admitted last week that Zaha was becoming increasingly unhappy about his limited game time with United, explaining: "Wilf has joined a new club with all the difficulties that brings.
"Have I noticed a lack of confidence in him? No. There is probably some frustration because he just wants to play."
With that in mind he could become a priority for Moyes soon particularly after choosing the move to United over a host of other clubs who wanted his signature at the start of the year.
