The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a massive 5.5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, rendering a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and 267 ppi pixel density. It comes with 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm dimensions and weighs about 183 grams.
Hardware and Operating System:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a 1.6 GHz quad core cortex-A9 processor and Exynos 4412 Quad chipset. It comes in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB internal memory variants, which can be expanded by up to 64 GB using a Micro SD card.
The device runs on an Android operating system, coming with the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean version and can be upgraded to the 4.1.2 version. It has 2 GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has some exciting features enabling users to multi task. The phone allows users to open two different apps simultaneously, which share the screen space.
The Air View allows users to browse through the pictures without having to open the folder, saving time and energy of the user. The Quick command feature allows users to send an email, text message or call someone by simply writing the command on the pad.
The S Pen Features:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with an S Pen, which allows the user to utilise the features on the phone more efficiently. Users can write a note, like a phone number or address, using the S Pen. Hand written notes can also be sent via email using the S pen.
The other uses of the S pen include hand written messages on pictures, editing the photos with hand drawn art, hand drawn sketches of ideas like new product designs can also be drawn using the S pen.
The primary camera on the device is 8 MP with features like auto focus, LED flash, simultaneous image and video recording, face detection and image stabilization. The secondary camera on the device is 1.9 MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has an impressive Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery, which allows for a talk time of up to 16 hours on 3G.
