The iPhone 5 comes with a 1.3 GHz dual core processor with Apple A6 chipset. It comes in 16, 32 and 64 GB internal memory variants but has no Micro SD slot option for additional memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 runs on Android operating system. The 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich version on the phone can be upgraded to the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The iPhone 5 runs on the iOS operating system. It comes with the iOS 6, which can be upgraded to the iOS 7. Both devices come with 1 GB of RAM.
