Samsung Galaxy S5 release date may happen in January next year and will bring a lot of amazing features and specifications in tow.
According to Korean Web site Naver, Samsung will announce its flagship device in January and will be available for purchase through carriers and retailers in February.
Previous reports claimed that the Galaxy S5 will be launched in March 2014. However, Naver's report stated that the earlier release date of Samsung Galaxy S5 will make up for the weak sales of its predecessor - Samsung Galaxy S4.
However, it is most likely that Samsung will hold its own Unpacked event just like its previous product releases.
According to the latest rumours, Samsung Galaxy S5 will borrow some of the features of Sony Xperia Z such as being dustproof and water-resistant. Other rumours emerged stating that upcoming Samsung device will retain its Samsung Galaxy S4's existing back camera. However, the South Korean tech company is reported to improve the camera lens that will deliver on better quality photos.
Below are the top five killer features of Samsung Galaxy S5.
64-Bit Exynos 6 Processor - Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumoured to pack the powerful Exynos 6 CPU with 14nm architecture and 64-bit support. According to GSMArena, Samsung Galaxy S5 will also feature an "ARM's big.LITTLE octa-core configuration with Cortex-A53/A57 cores. The latter can operate simultaneously using half as much power as the currently available Exynos 5420."
Android 4.4 KitKat OS - Another exciting feature that will come to the upcoming Samsung flagship phone is Android's latest mobile operating software dubbed as 4.4 KitKat.
Flexible Screen Display - Reports claimed that Samsung is already working on flexible screen displays that will be included in the next generation of Samsung devices.
