'Harry Potter's' Golden Trio: Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint's Latest Projects [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is one "Harry Potter" spin off fans certainly shouldn't miss. However, for fans hoping to see a cameo of the Golden Trio namely Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in the film, they aren't likely to see them in the film at all. Well, all three stars are obviously busy with their latest projects.
J.K. Rowling sure knows how to keep the fire of magic burning within her fans. After almost two years of no "Harry Potter" news, Rowling announced the "Potter" spin off film, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
"Although it will be set in the worldwide community of witches and wizards where I was so happy for seventeen years, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the 'Harry Potter' series, but an extension of the wizarding world," stated Rowling on her official Facebook page. The "Potter" spin-off follows the story of Newt Scamander.
"The laws and customs of the hidden magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the Harry Potter books or seen the films, but Newt's story will start in New York, seventy years before Harry's gets underway," continued Rowling.
Following such news, fans had hoped anyone from the original films specifically that of the Golden Trio, would be in the film even in a quick cameo. Of course, this is far from possible given Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint is awfully swamped with projects.
Emma Watson is set to star in two films up for production namely "Your Voice in My Head" and "While We're Young." The actress has already been juggling life in Uni with her shoots and promotions. As for Daniel Radcliffe, the actor is currently promoting his film "Kill Your Darlings." For everyone's favourite ginger, Rupert Grint stars in the CBS comedy, "Super Clyde."
With their hands full, a small part let alone a cameo in the "Potter" spin-off is unlikely. For now, check out the trailers for "Kill Your Darlings" and "Super Clyde" below.
