With that number, Miley dethroned the king of YouTube channel, Swedish gamer Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, whose PewDiePie channel held the crown for long, but got a lesser 215.6 million views in the same month.
The numbers place Miley's channel 54.5 million ahead of PewDiePie, jumping 222 per cent from August.
However, Pew's subscribers, at almost 14.3 million, are way ahead of Miley's 2.9 million subscribers.
Miley channel's overtaking Pew's is not surprising considering that music is one of the top categories in YouTube and account for 4 of 5 most popular channels in September. Besides Miley's channel, also in the list are Mu-Yap, the Turkish music video channel with 179 million views), Katy Perry's channel (162.1 million) and Avicil (105 million).
So whether people find Miley's twerking cute or distasteful, expect to see more of her barely clothed body wrecking more records in the music industry and social media site.
