Kristen Bell: Awesome Post-Baby Weight-loss Secrets
The weight gain during pregnancy and losing it after can cause much stress and sleepless nights for the new mommies. It can cause serious self-image issues making them worrying incessantly and gradually knuckling under the pressure. Check out what Kristen Bell, the "Veronica Mars" actress has to share regarding the secrets to her awesome post-baby body.
Kristen is enjoying her motherhood along with losing post-baby weight without succumbing to the stress the pregnancy weight-gain brings with it.
Her very first secret to her post-baby fitness is that there is no secret. She refuses to have delved into any kind of secretive weight-loss regime to bounce back to her pre-baby body. She is not shying away from camera and is very comfortable with what she is going through. "I'm definitely trying to lose it-I want to be clear," said Kristen to E! News.
Her next secret is that she makes no big deal about it. She is very clear that she wants to lose weight but she doesn't agree to give into the idea and stress about it. "It's like, by the way, don't you want to look like you've had a baby? I'm sitting here with you, I'm crunched over, I have a huge muffin top-who cares?" quoted Kristen.
Kristen, who was blessed with a baby girl Lincoln, about six months back with Dax Shepard is doing pretty good and getting in shape. Like every woman she is also experiencing the different bodily phenomena but she is just adapting to it. She has resorted to some regular exercise with a realistic approach. She is just not rushing through the process. "I have started running between 10 and 20 minutes, just on the treadmill three or four times or week," Kristen disclosed. "Or two or three, depending on what the weeks look like."
Another secret to her well shaped body is that she has added some routinely exercise. She does Pilates to regain the strength. Along with that she relies on SoulCycle. "Sometimes I go to SoulCycle, which is my worst nightmare, but I feel like Superman when I leave, I've never sweat so much in my life than when I've been there!", Kristen told.
She recently made some appearances on red carpet looking gorgeous and pretty much in shape. She revealed the secret to this is she uses Spanx underneath her gorgeous dresses. They are "post-surgical compression outfits" and they fit as well as catsuits underneath her red carpet attires.
She believes in not letting the stress force her to let go her joyful journey of motherhood. "The secret to body after baby is flushing down the toilet every notion of body after baby. Honestly!...I made a commitment to not allow my narrative for the year after having a baby to be about my weight. And I think that freed me up and it made me less concerned with all the pressures that revolve around body image. I was like, 'I have a baby. Do you know how awesome that is? It's so radical! Why on earth am I going to be so concerned with my pants size?'" she asks.
