You can now play Assassin's Creed 4 on your next-gen consoles come November 22 for the Xbox One version and November 15 for the PS4 version. A PC version has also been decked out for November 19, reports VG 24/7.
Apart from the release dates, two trailers have been posted for Assassin's Creed 4: The Black Flag. The first introduces the new cast of pirates whom you will be setting sail with in the game.
Some of the crew following Captain Kenway is Quartermaster Adewale, Blackbeard Thatch, Benjamin Hornigold, and Stede Bonnet. Then there's privateer Woodes Rogers, who tries to eliminate the pirate threat once and for all.
If you are thinking of playing Assassin's Creed: Pirates, Ubisoft's own game for smartphones and tablets, it's best that you get a copy of the Assassin's Creed 4, as the former game will be set a year after the events of AC4.
While it does not continue the nautical tales of Edward Kenway and the rest of the crew, it does pursue the quest of La Buse and the hidden treasure. Pirates will be a continuing project for Ubisoft, as Cinema Blend reports that it will have regular updates after the launch.
Why Dead Rising 3 is only coming to the Xbox One
While there are many survival and zombie games slated for release in the coming months, Dead Rising 3 is probably the most awaited by those who are buying the Xbox One. And for those who have been hoping that the game will be dropping into the Xbox 360, it's just disappointment from here on out.
Major Nelson dispelled any Xbox 360 rumours on his Twitter. "Reports from #eurogamer that Dead Rising 3 will launch on Xbox 360 are false. It's an Xbox One exclusive-no plans for 360."
Producer Mike Jones has revealed to CVG that only the Xbox One was suited to capture what Capcom was trying to do with the game. The Xbox 360's architecture will not be able to handle the kind of technology that Dead Rising 3 makes.
"We're not using the same textures over and over again, nor are we using the same geometry over and again," said Jones to CVG. "Every building and every interior in Dead Rising 3 is handmade and handcrafted. You'll never see the same building twice."
This means that even though it is a Microsoft-exclusive, the game will never be able to adapt to the Xbox 360's architecture. Aside from dynamic worlds, Capcom also promises that there won't be two zombies alike, just like in a supposed real zombie world.
By creating their own system that generates all the parts of the zombie, these will be mixed and matched so that the world will feel even more realistic. Comparing Dead Rising 3 to the old game, the developers have promised that this game will be even more populated and textured, changing how you will play and shoot at zombies.
Beyond: Two Souls get bonus scenes and bonus offers
Beyond: Two Souls is just a week away from its launch date, but that's still enough time to upgrade your copy. Preorders at GameStop will boost your copy to a Special Edition with no charges, according to Joystiq.
This offer also comes with another bonus that has just been recently announced. Beyond: Two Souls' Special Edition comes with 30 more minutes of playable scene titled Advanced Experiments.
Here, lead character Jodie and the ghostly guide Aiden will go through training missions to develop problem-solving skills, reports Videogamer.
"Over the course of 30 minutes of additional gameplay, you will determine your ability to use your brain while keeping an ice-cool head in high-pressure situations," said Sony in a statement quoted by Videogamer.
