'The Mortal Instruments: City of Heavenly Fire' Cassandra Clare Reveals Six Character Deaths, Separation and Closures

Fans of Cassandra Clare's novels, "The Mortal Instruments" are in for a lot of surprises once the final instalment of the series arrives March 2014. Aside from revealing that there would be six deaths, Cassie adds that there will be one couple that would forever stay separated. "Shadowhunters" rooting for their "ships" should pray hard their pair stays together and come out alive.

Despite the gloomy news that "City of Ashes" has been delayed in production, Cassandra Clare certainly knows how to perk up the fans. In her official Tumblr account, Cassie reveals the placeholder cover for the final book in "The Mortal Instruments" series, "City of Heavenly Fire." Clare's post is as follows:

"Today seems a good day to reveal the placeholder cover for City of Heavenly Fire! This is not the final cover, but since you'll be seeing it all over, on amazon etc. until they reveal the final, might as well see it here first. I did not come up with the tagline, but I like it."

"The final cover will of course not have words on it, but people. I cannot tell you which people. You will have to wait for the reveal. There is also an extra surprise printed on the inside cover! *dances*"

"Also I have discovered the Tumblr of the most patient people ever. http://iscityofheavenlyfireoutyet.tumblr.com/"

After having posted an update about the novel on her Tumblr account, Cassie then proceeded to answering questions sent out by fans. Only a few months more wait before the final book comes out. For now, all fans have left to do is to pray their favourite characters don't end up dying.
