The Sony Xperia series has been taking the market by storm. The Xperia Z and Z Ultra have both received positive reviews and continue to rake in more including sales. Just when everyone though Sony has got its hands full, a leak reveals that a Sony Xperia Z2 and Z1 are already in the works. Z1 just made its ways to stores and now the Japanese tech giant has started working on its second installment.
Sony has emphasized its goal to approach every product they have in "one" way. The coherent structure and informed approach allowed the company to put out high quality products. Previously successful with its line of televisions and gaming console, Sony has once again proven they are a force to be reckoned within tech.
Sony's Xperia line has received high and positive ratings especially for their features. Some of these include high definition camera, dust and water-resistant features. The speed and performance of these devices are also worth noting. Combining different technologies the company is known for, their devices have become a one-stop shop for many. Gaming, work, surfing and entertainment, Sony has managed to put it successfully in its devices.
This is the same reason why it has gained the interest of the market for whatever it plans on releasing.
Chinese Web site CNMO recently leaked information about the Honamo Mini. According to the report, the Z1 Mini will feature a 4.3-inch display and quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor plus 2GB RAM. There are no details yet about the resolution.
Other features include a 20.7-megapixel camera plus Sony G Lens. This assures buyers that the next Z1 will have impressive camera. The device will also reportedly offer 8GB of internal memory including a microSD card for those wishing to expand the memory. CNMO also noted that the Honami Mini will run on Android 4.3 operating system.
Sony has not confirmed any release dates or final specs yet.
AndroidSAS, on the other hand, revealed details about the upcoming Xperia Z2. Nicknamed Avatar, the report says Z2 will feature one of the most exceptional displays today. The leak indicated the device will sport a 5.5-inch IGZO Triluminos display including a 540 ppi pixel density. This will put the new Xperia Z2 as beyond industry standards. Other reported features include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chipset, 3GB Ram and Android 4.4 KitKat.
