Despite facing criticism from reviewers over the content, "Grand Masti" is performing extremely well at box offices in India. The collections of adult film "Grand Masti" has surged on the second day, earning approximately ₹13.5 crore.

The two-day total of director Indra Kumar's "Grand Masti" is approximately ₹26 crore.
"#GrandMasti shows ample growth in major circuits on Day 2. Sat *early estimates* 13.5 cr. Total: ₹26 cr. Heading for 40 cr+ weekend. Wow," trade Taran Adarsh tweeted about the business of the film.
The first-day collections of the film, starring Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh, was ₹12.5 crore, making it the fourth highest opener of 2013 after "Chennai Express", "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Race 2".
The two-day total of the film has already surpassed the opening weekend collection of romantic comedy "Shuddh Desi Romance" and "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2".
If Sunday's trend at the box office remains the same as Saturday's, then the first weekend total of the film would be around ₹40 crore and will beat the opening weekend earnings of films like "Satyagraha", "Himmatwala" and "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag".
In the international market, particularly the UK and US circuits, the film has received good response in terms of collection. The adult comedy raked in ₹32.38 lakh and ₹38.10 lakh from the US circuits on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
At the UK box office, the film earned ₹21.18 lakh on Friday and ₹30.24 lakh on Saturday.
"#GrandMasti starts well in Intl arena as well. Fri UK £21000. USA $51000. Good opening for these markets. Sat UK £30,000. USA $60,000. Total Overseas 2 days $200,000. Extraordinary," Adarsh tweeted.
Meanwhile, the other two films - "Horror Story" and "John Day", had opened to a lackluster response in India.
The horror film, written by Vikram Bhatt, has raked in approximately ₹1.7 crore from its two-day run at the box office. On the opening day, it made a business of around ₹70 lakh, while on the second day it raked in approximately ₹1 crore.
Dark thriller "John Day" starring Nasseruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda was a disappointment at the box office. The film has managed to fetch in ₹45 lakh on Friday and around ₹60 lakh on Saturday.
