Google also acquired the makers of the Snapseed app, Nik software in 2012, which Nikon invested on as well. Google is levelling up to compete with Nokia's PureView technology, HTC's ultrapixel, iPhone's amazing camera and Sony's Cybershot, by using Nikon's power.
3. LG to Make Nexus 5
Google experienced glory with the success of Nexus 4 and its co-maker LG. The Korean tech company will not ignore if chosen by Google and it is possible that both companies are currently working behind the curtains on making Nexus 5.
When the statue of Android 4.4 KitKat was erected at the Google HQ, rumours of the LG mark and an image of a Nexus phone were exposed. AndroidAdvices caught a good resolution of an image showing two people holding a Nexus smartphone which seems to have the LG marking at the back. The uploading video from Google was instantly removed on the official Web site after leaking the alleged Nexus 5.

Nexus 5 with small bezel around its display is not impossible to happen with or without images leaking around but seeing them is exciting. Google is making the Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5S as its direct rival for the Nexus 5 in terms of screen display and hardware components.
Some details leaked out from its premature appearance such as 5-inches of screen display, narrow and greatly reduced bezel, LG branding, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, FCC certification and a model number LG D820.

Considering the prices of Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 2013, it is also expected that the upcoming Nexus phone will not be super expensive unlike with Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and iPhone 5S.
