According to the official Minecraft forum, you can get the updated version in your launcher by selecting the Use Version drop-down box in your Edit Profile menu.
Some of the bugs that have been fixed include chat concurrency issues, the mesa biome spawn, problems with the enchantments and their display, vanilla 13w36wa suspicious class, and wrong item in Adventure Time achievement.
Other changes that revolve around actions and functions include fixing issue with inability to obtain achievement in Beginning, inability to take a screenshot in GUI, debugged messages, inability to save sound, and the issues of attacks showing enchanted particles without enchanted weapons.
The link to reporting bugs is still active and Mojang is still accepting any bugs that you can find with the updated screenshot.
Here is another episode of Noxcrew Minecraft, a gameshow project from Noxite that has been dedicated to creating a massive Ultra Gameshow in Minecraft.
For this episode, Noxcrew is pitting Team Heroes against Fighting Spirit, which are both comprised of heavy Minecrafters aiming to win the game. You have several obstacles to get through.
In the first game, you can enjoy the kickoff, going up ladders, dodging the webs, and fires, and getting away from pitfalls. There are also monster chases through zombies, so expect a lot of dodging and running.
It's pretty much a race to get the highest point by capturing the first place. Enjoy the hour-long gameshow created with Minecraft.
Kudos to the makers behind this show, which Minecraft forums lists down to include Epic Landlord, xILubez and iBuze as commentators, and Noxite for making everything virtually possible.
Rail Before Christmas roller coaster
Another awe-inspiring creation from nuropsych has led to the Night Rail Before Christmas, an epic roller coaster follow up to the Beetlejuice rollercoaster, which according to numerous forums have no WorldEdit, MCEdit or other tools to create.
Unfortunately, according to nuropsych's YouTube page, the map is not yet available for download, but the roller coasters, both the Rail Before Christmas and other previous creations are currently being rebuilt via The Emerald Isle server to open soon, so you can enjoy them there once it takes off.
For now, check out this video, which shows off the crazy roller coaster inspired by the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Even the music is very apt for the roller ride.
The details are very poignant, and fans of both Minecraft and the Tim Burton movie will surely appreciate all the efforts of the builders. Say hello to Jack Skellington and the rest of the Christmas Town gang-can you spot your favorite characters?
