SEE HERE! Photographer Terry Richardson's Most Recent Controversial Pictures [PHOTOS]
Photographer Terry Richardson is known for his controversial photo shoots as he works on models, celebrities and clicks them in their natural self - invoking their innermost desires to be clicked that way. The photographer has produced some of the sleaziest and most talked about advertising campaigns in the past decade.
Richardson's signature pictures are those of well-lit halls where models pose almost stark naked in suggestive poses in all sexual themes. Recently Miley Cyrus, who was desperately looking to get an image makeover, posed for Richardson (not nude) but in suggestive poses where the 20-year-old grabbed her crotch, showed both her middle fingers and even did a head-stand in a tiny pair of shorts.
The 48-year-old also shot Lady Gaga before she appeared at the MTV Video Music Awards. The pictures show Gaga's stretching wearing only a tiny little thong and stretching topless.
Last year in 2012, Richardson made headlines when he posted, then removed, provocative photos of Lindsay Lohan on his Web site where she held a handgun to her head. The photographer also shot Lohan showing off her butt in a mini-skirt as she poses him.
In 2010, Richardson was also accused of sexually exploiting young models as he asked them to pose naked for him. Rie Rasmussen, the Danish model-turned-filmmaker accused him of manipulating models who work for the agencies to take their clothes off for his pictures.
"He takes girls who are young, manipulates them to take their clothes off and takes pictures of them they will be ashamed of. They are too afraid to say no because their agency booked them on the job and are too young to stand up for themselves. His 'look' is girls who appear underage, abused, look like heroin addicts ... I don't understand how anyone works with him," Rasmussen said of the photographer according to the Guardian article.
Terry who loves doing soft-porn however has different opinion of his approach and says that he never asks anyone to do anything that he would not do himself.
"My rule is that I'd never ask anyone to do anything I wouldn't do myself," he said in one of his interviews.
"That's how it's got to go this far. At first, I'd just want to do a few nude shots, so I'd take off my clothes, too ... I'd even give the camera to the model and get her to shoot me for a while. It's about creating a vibe, getting people relaxed and excited. When that happens you can do anything," he clarified.
Let's take a look at Terry Richardson's recent work with Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, fashion models Dana and many others.
