Lamar Odom Finally Checks Himself to Rehab; A Chance to Win His Wife and Get on with NBA Career? [PHOTOS/VIDEO]
Khloe Kardashian has gotten her wish. Her troubled husband, Lamar Odom, has finally realized he needs help. He decided to check into a rehabilitation center for drug addiction.
It will be recalled that there were reports over the weekend that Lamar had gone missing for the second time. This was after he met with Khloe at their L.A. home following release from his Aug. 30 DUI arrest.
Reports had it last weekend that Khloe has given Lamar a bigger ultimatum and that the marriage will not work if he didn’t subject himself to rehab. More news outlets, noted by IBTimes-AU, claimed over the weekend that Khloe had kicked him out of their home for good. Then Lamar had gone missing again. Speculations then arouse that his situation had gone for the worst when a drug dealer confirmed Lamar had spent $50,000 for cocaine in the last 3 years and $16,000 in February 2013 alone.
"[Lamar has a] huge problem and he has a very addictive personality. It is becoming worse as you can see," the drug dealer said, according to The Daily Mail.
“He [Lamar] likes to party, He's a pretty nice guy to be honest with you, but he's becoming ... his problem seems to be becoming a bigger problem. In my experience, he literally likes cocaine. He is a cocaine guy. He likes to smoke it,” the drug supplier added.

The statement released by an unnamed drug supplier had raised more speculations that the Clippers player had gone on another drug binge.
People magazine reported that Lamar has finally checked himself into rehab. He went on his own accord.
This is not the first time that Lamar had himself checked into rehab. Back in 2001, the 33-year-old Queens native violated NBA drug policies two times. He was left with no choice but get himself treated to further his NBA career.
"I just couldn't control myself in L.A. ... the lifestyle that I was living and the things I had access to," Lamar had once said in an interview in 2003.
With support from Khloe, friends and teammates from the L.A. team, Lamar has great chances for having things fall into the right place once again.
