Rhythm and Vines is adding more artists to their already impressive line-up. American rapper Wiz Khalifa, whose hit “Black and Yellow” dominated the various music charts around the world, leads the second line-up for the New Zealand festival in 2013.

The music fest will be Wiz’s first time to perform in the country.
He will be joined by Kill the Noise, Ayah Marar, Stanton Warriors, Wilkinson, DJ Zinc, Mightyfools, Wolf + Lamb, Kode9, Tomorrow People, Louis Baker, Weird Together, PleasePlease, Benny Tipene, and The Remains.
The festival is expected to add more acts for the three-day festival.
“We are really excited by the quality of international and local artists we have secured for 2013. This will ensure that Rhythm and Vines continues to be New Zealand’s most popular music festival,” Rhythm Group’s CEO Kieran Spillane said.
“Ticket sales indicate it is going to be a festival to remember. We have a full time team working the whole year around creating an amazing festival experience and we cannot wait to bring this to festival goers in Gisborne.”
The $229 ticket has already sold out, but organisers have increased the numbers of tickets at the same price until September 18 at 5pm or until the tickets have sold out. After the promo ends, the tickets will cost $249 plus booking fee.
Rhythm and Vines will kick off on December 29 until the early hours of Jan 1, 2014, and will be held at the Waiohika Estate in Gisborne.
