One of the previously featured concepts is the futuristic iPhone 6 wherein you have a holographic keyboard and screen, effectively turning it into a small laptop-like contraption. It is currently one of the most insane and out-of-this-world designs of the iPhone 6 to date.
Another fan favorite in terms of the wish list design for the iPhone 6 is the wrap-around display, which has been previously rumoured by several reports. This is mainly due to one of Apple's patents, this time aiming for a wraparound AMOLED display.
As can be seen in the video, this particular design may be an adaptation of the model seen in the patent found by Gizmag.
Lastly, the more realistic iPhone 6 concept is the edge-to-edge display. The overall design of the handset remains essentially the same with all the other iPhones. The only difference lies in the lack of bezels at the side of the phone which allows for a bigger screen without having to increase the size of the actual unit.
Realistically speaking, the iPhone 6 release date is expected to come in 2014, as the iPhone 5S refresh phone is slated for reveal this coming September 10. Still, this does not stop a lot of fans from creating their own fantastic device in the hopes that Apple can come up with the technology to turn it into reality.
What to expect on September 10
After all the rumours surrounding the release of the iPad 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, and the wildly speculated iPhone 6, it all boils down to one date to know all: September 10.
Apple has already sent out invitations to the press for its September 10 event, which has now been accepted as the venue for the big reveal of three of its most awaited devices, the iPhone 5S the iPhone 5C, and the iPad 5.
As a nod to the event, ConceptsiPhone, noted creator of iPhone 6 and other iPhone devices, has made a video to showcase all the almost-sure designs for the devices, based mostly on the rumours and reports.
You can see the five different colours of the iPhone 5C, which is reported to be the low-cost, plastic iPhone rolling out in red, green, yellow, blue, and white.
There iPhone 5S is also present with its champagne-coloured cover. And there is also the iPad 5, Apple's contender for the tablet industry.
The video also offers some behind the scenes look at the hardware, with sketches and renders of devices put side by side. All of these will hopefully be out by September 10, but for now, enjoy a look at the video.
iPhone 5S and iPad Mini 2 unboxed
The iPad Mini 2 is another device that has been much awaited by Apple fans. iCrackUriDevice, a YouTube user, has showcased another unboxing video, this time featuring the iPad Mini 2 and the iPhone 5s graphite back covers.
iPad Mini 2 has a near-identical design as the iPad Mini, the only difference being that this model has a plastic component at the top to signify that it is a cellular capable model.
The 7.9-inch tablet has taken a backseat to the upcoming iPhones, with a release date schedule for October. The details of the device remain to be speculations, most of which revolve around the possibility of a low-cost iPad Mini and a high-end iPad Mini 2 with Retina display.
The iPhone 5S graphite variant unboxed shows a lighter shade in the graphite colour, as compared to the one seen in the iPhone 5. Upon closer inspection, the shade is more of a dark silver with black finishes at the top.
Supposedly, the September 10 media event will be focusing only on the unveiling of the iPhones. The iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 may have to be benched for some time until a reveal date is announced by the company.
Is it a wise move for Apple to separate the release dates of the different iDevices? It is already widely known that Samsung is getting ready for its own reveal of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. In addition, the IFA Berlin may feature a couple of devices this September, and if Apple plans to release later this October, there is a chance that it will lose some of its market to the early birds.
