Best known for his TV character Zach Stevens on the hit television series The O.C., Michael Cassidy is "Men at Work's" Tyler Mitchell on the newest TBS comedy show.
Cassidy joins the cast of three male leads who are trying to navigate their way through life, work relationships and women where he plays a dashing feature writer for a men's celebrity magazine aptly called Full Steam.
The pretty boy in TBS "Men at Work".
"Men at Work" has proven their charm once again with two hit seasons and season three is set to be released early 2014. With its fresh and modern look of the males perspective, the series is like a male version of Sex and the City.
Michael is working along side Danny Masterson who plays as Milo who was recently dumped by his girlfriend in the show's first season; James Lesure as Gibbs, a ladies man and the magazine's photographer; and Adam Busch as Neal, the only one in the group who is taken and dating the daughter of the boss played by Meredith Hagner.
According to a phone interview with Michael about playing the role as Tyler Mitchell, he said: "But I do love Tyler, I think Tyler and I are both romantic. We are both idealistic. I just love the show and the camaraderie among the cast. They are often making fun of me as the guy who goes to bed early, the guy who has the longest hair, the guy who's the youngest...just the kind of stuff that the three other characters love to make fun of Tyler, too. It's fun to have a friend who cares enough to make fun of you."
Michael Cassidy kick-started his career when he joined the cast of The O.C. after losing the part to Brandon Routh when he auditioned for the title role in "Superman Returns" (2006). His role as Zach Stevens gave him the much needed TV appearance as he played the formidable potential opponent for Seth Cohen played by Adam Brody for the whole season two of the series.
Before starting his television career, Michael graduated from the prestigious two-year conservatory program at The New Actors Workshop in New York back in 2003. After playing a role in The O.C. he starred in the long-running TV series Smallville as Grant Gabriel where he played as Lois Lane love interest who turned out to be a clone.
His other hit TV series includes ABC's Castle, Scandal and Happy Ending; The CW's Priveledged and NBC's Are You There, Chelsea? He was also in several featured films like Oscar-winning film Argo, directed by ben Affleck; and Zoom, acting along side Tim Allen, Courtney Cox and Chevy Chase.
