Schalke midfielder and Arsenal target Julian Draxler has revealed he is open to leaving the club, if the Bundesliga outfit receives a sizeable offer before the transfer window closes.
The 19-year-old has emerged as one of most sought after young players in Europe, after impressing in Germany over the last couple of years. The Gunners, who are expected to make at least one high-profile signing before Monday, have been strongly linked with a big-money move for the German.

Draxler signed a new deal with Schalke earlier this summer that extended his contract till 2018; so a transfer away in this window seemed unlikely, despite Arsenal's interest. However, the player has now stated he could still leave the club, if a significant bid comes in.
"I don't mind people speculating, I'll let them have their fun. If nothing extraordinary happens, I will be here on Monday. But Schalke could change their mind and say 'Well, 40 or 30 million euros is not so bad,' and then I can't do much about it. If the club absolutely wants to sell me, I will not say 'No, I want to stay'," the teenager pointed out.
Draxler, who can operate as a central attacking midfielder or a left winger, made 30 Bundesliga appearances last season, scoring 10 goals. The youngster has six senior international caps to his name.
Meanwhile, Arsenal received more good news on the transfer front, as another one of their targets - Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye - has been granted permission to leave the club on deadline day.
The France international came on as a substitute for the Magpies against Fulham on Saturday but manager Alan Pardew admitted he could still make an exit. The Gunners had a £10m bid for the 27-year-old knocked back two weeks ago but they could return with a improved offer on Monday.
"It doesn't [mean he's staying ] because the window is open until 11pm [on Monday] and all our players are vulnerable. It's a worry [receiving a late bid]. We've marked his agent's card that he needs to do his business early. If there is a bid to come then let us know," Pardew stressed.
