Casting for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film may be taking forever but, thankfully, producer Dana Brunetti managed to let slip out five important movie details for fans. Since the announcement late last year of the films' production, fans have heard nothing but rumours about the film adaptation of E.L. James' best-selling erotica novel. Yet, these five details are anything but rumours.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" by E.L. James
Everyone has been dying to hear news about the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film. News circulating on the web doesn't even appear to be close to the truth. One thing for sure is that British model Cara Delevingne won't take part in the film adaptation. There are of course five other official movie details that are newsworthy.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" producer Dana Brunetti chatted with Northwest Prime Radio hosts Michele and Lori about the film. Dana was certainly open to sharing details about the film. Earlier announcements claimed the film adaptation would be released on August 24, 2014. Brunetti confirmed, however, that the film would be officially released by August 1, 2014.
While fans are desperately rooting for their own favourites for the part of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, Dana Brunetti claimed that fans are likely to be disappointed with whoever they cast. According to the post from the The Stir, Dana "acknowledges that a lot of people will be unhappy with the choice, no matter who they pick."
Still, Dana and the production studio are paying attention to "fan chatter" about Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele casting. Fan factors are being taken into consideration which means fans rooting for their own contenders should make a hell lot of noise on the web to be noticed.
Another official detail let out by Dana is that they would do a chemistry test between their chosen actors for Christian and Ana. Like fans of the books, producers want their Ana and Christian to have the same steamy chemistry to make the film believable. Chances are Christian Grey would be cast first.
For now, the only definite film up for production is "Fifty Shades of Grey." Dana claimed they have no official plans to produce "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."
