Miley Cyrus may have taken a lot of flack when she gyrated against Robin Thicke for his performance of Blurred Lines at the MTV VMAs, but things are looking up for the singer.
Kanye West has reportedly collaborated with the former Hannah Montana star in the wake of her controversial stage stunt.
According to US Weekly, the Watch the Throne rapper headed straight to the studio with the former Disney star after seeing her overtly sexual dance moves during the annual awards ceremony.
The duo are believed to have re-recorded West's song Black Skinhead.
A source said: 'He was in a creative mood.
"You know 'Ye: He does everything last minute and just decided to capture their energy and record right after the show. They decided that night."
West and Cyrus are said to have also experimented with several tracks from Miley's upcoming album Bangerz, which is due out on 4 October.
Meanwhile, it's emerged that even Cyrus' team were unaware of what she had planned.
"Miley's team is freaking about that performance,"a source told Us Weekly. "They saw the rehearsals, but those were really played down compared to the live performance."
Creative director Diane Martel defended Cyrus' decision to use the foam finger suggestively.
"Miley had ideas about how she wanted to perform; she was excited to play it mega-campy style," she said.
"For Blurred Lines I decided to use the [foam] finger and she took it and ran with it. She's into being over the top right now and I'm right there with her."
