One of the most anticipated features of Google Nexus 5 is the upcoming Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Google recently released the 4.3 version of Jelly Bean update along with Nexus 7 2. It is expected that the new Android OS will bring great software features to the Android devices.
Another great feature of the soon-to-be-unveiled Google Nexus 5 is Full HD screen display. The screen display is speculated to be 5 inches in size.
Camera lovers may take delight on the news that the Google Nexus 5 will include a 16MP rear camera courtesy of Nikon. Thus, one can expect great and clear photos.
Google Nexus 5 is rumoured to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz paired with 3GB of RAM; 3300mAh battery capacity and the latest Android OS. The handset is rumoured to be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants and will support 4G/LTE connectivity, which was lacking in the Nexus 4.
LG and Motorola are the two companies battling for the Google Nexus 5 but the search engine giant still has not confirmed which company it will partner with in making the Google Nexus 5.
As for the release date, Google Nexus 5 may arrive in this year's Thanksgiving. The LG Nexus 4 was launched November of last year. Thus, consumers can expect its successor, Nexus 5, to come no later than November of this year.
