The King of Pop's early death in 2009 is definitely manifesting its negative impact on his children. First, Paris Jackson slashed her wrists in a suicide attempt, although observers said she just wanted attention. Now, Prince Jackson wants to marry at an early age as a way to leave his family's home in Calabasas, California to move in his own pad.
Now at the rebellious age of 16, Prince - Michael Jackson's son with Debbie Rowe - has been vocal in telling his family that he wants to marry the 17-year-old Remi Alfalah. She is his classmate and a princess from a royal family in Kuwait, reports the New York Post.
Other usual teenage behaviour that Prince is showing include arriving home very late and ignoring the different requests of Katherine Jackson, his grandmother and guardian.
He also leaves the house without security and has been stopped by police for overspeeding in his Ford pickup by over 20 mph beyond the speed limit while driving with his girlfriend.
Remi comes from the Kuwaiti royal family, specifically from the line of Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The young couple met in 2011 at the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California, a private school. Prince will begin his junior year in Buckley on Tuesday, Aug 27.
Except for his being a minor which would not allow him to live on his own, Prince has the money to separate from the Jacksons since reports said that he gets a monthly allowance of $66,000, plus would receive, along with siblings Paris and Blanket, over $1 billion inheritance from the estate of their famous dad.
However, they would get only one-third of their share when they reach 30 and received the two-thirds 10 years after.
The family quoted Prince that had his father been alive, he would have allowed his oldest son to behave like he does now. However, a family insider debunked the claim, citing that they even wore masks in public as part of Michael's order that they maintain a low profile.
