Say what now?
Dennis Rodman, retired professional basketball player, has said something ridiculously unoriginal (surprise, surprise) - he tweeted that he invented planking.

The Worm during a Chicago Bulls games back in the day.
In his defense, the American Hall of Famer looked awfully awesome, seemingly planking in mid-air while he was trying to get a hold the ball during a game with Chicago Bulls.

As his followers admired the cool photo, Rodman tweeted this reply:
.@GoldenAge83 I invented planking.— Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) August 25, 2013
You should know that The Worm - as he was known back then - isn't busy being juvenile in social media, but also in real life - literally. He recently released his children's book titled Dennis the Wild Bull.

And while we're still waiting on that second trip to North Korea to happen (tweeting Kim Jong-un to release American prisoner Kenneth Bae isn't enough), HBO's VICE has released a documentary on Rodman's recent visit to the communist state.

Dennis Rodman is known for his defensive skills and rebounding abilities on court. The seven-time NBA All-Defensive Team also won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award two times.
According to NBA.com, he is "arguably the best rebounding forward in NBA history."
